What You Will Learn

This course offers a deep dive into the core principles and techniques of Jeet Kune Do, emphasizing practicality, efficiency, and adaptability.

Learn Wing Chun–based drills that Bruce Lee adopted for Jeet Kune Do. These drills cultivate hand speed, close-range coordination, mindfulness, and centerline control.
Learn the most essential practices in Wing Chun taught to Bruce Lee by Ip Man. Chi Sao develops heightened sensitivity and faster reaction times.Siu Lim Tao is the first form in Wing Chun and is widely regarded as its most important. It is a form of meditation in motion and Qigong that when practiced regularly, develops a calm and focused mind, enhances awareness, and improves energy flow.

Richard Syrop

Richard has over three decades of martial arts experience and serves as the head instructor at the Himalayan Academy of Martial Arts. He is a certified instructor in Jeet Kune Do under Sifu Dan Inosanto—one of only three individuals personally appointed by Bruce Lee, the founder of Jeet Kune Do, to teach his art. Sifu Inosanto is a four-time Black Belt Hall of Fame inductee and is widely regarded as one of the greatest living martial artists.

 

In addition to Jeet Kune Do, Richard is a certified instructor in Krav Maga and the Filipino Martial Arts, as well as a certified USA boxing coach. This diverse background brings a broad, well-rounded perspective to his teaching. Having mentored and trained hundreds of students in India and the United States, he creates a focused, motivating learning environment that challenges the body, sharpens skills, and builds strength, stamina, and confidence.

Navya Kundar

Navya brings over five years of MMA experience and has trained extensively under Richard in Jeet Kune Do, Krav Maga, and boxing. Her training approach emphasizes real-world application, efficient movement, striking fundamentals, defensive awareness, and adaptability under pressure. 

 

Backed by nearly 15 years of movement and body-conditioning experience—including Contact Improvisation with roots in Aikido principles—alongside a certified yoga teacher training background, she integrates strength, mobility, balance, and breath control into combat training. 

 

Known for her high-energy presence and focused instruction, Navya delivers disciplined, challenging, and motivating sessions that build both physical resilience and mental readiness.

How to Reach

Taxi: Direct taxis are available from Dharamshala Airport, Pathankot, Chandigarh, or Delhi. Contact us and we’ll arrange this for you.
Train: Nearest major station: Pathankot Cantt (PTKC). From there, take a taxi to Bhagsu or a bus to Dharamshala (approx. 3.5 hours).
Bus: Volvo and HRTC buses run from Delhi, Chandigarh, and Amritsar to Dharamshala. From Dharamshala, take a taxi or auto to Bhagsu (20–30 minutes; approx. INR 600).
Air: Fly to Kangra Airport with daily flights from Delhi and Chandigarh. Bhagsu is about 45 minutes away by taxi (approx. INR 1500).
